Kansas Athletics and BeOne Sports are being featured on Brennan Poole’s No. 6 JD Motorsports Chevy as a part of an NIL deal. You can get your own 1:24 scale model diecast of the car available for purchase now on dailydownforce.com.
For those who don’t know, the diecast is a metal and plastic replica of the actual race car that weighs 1.9 pounds and measures 8 inches from bumper to bumper. The model comes on a stand which makes it perfect for a desk, shelf, or bookcase display.
This is a first-of-its-kind NIL arrangement featuring 11 different Kansas athletes. This includes one of the top centers in the nation, Hunter Dickinson, who recently transferred from the University of Michigan to play at Kansas this winter. Another men’s basketball player is 2022 NCAA National Champion and two-time Big 12 All-Defense team member Dajuan Harris.
Kansas Football quarterback Jalon Daniels is also on the car after leading the Jayhawks to their first bowl game since 2008. Running back Devin Neal is also on the car after rushing for more than 1,000 yards last season for the Jayhawks.
Taiyanna Jackson led the Jayhawks to the WNIT postseason tournament championship after averaging over 12 points and 12 rebounds per game. Other Kansas athletes included on the car as follows:
The actual race car will run on September 9th in the Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway, broadcast live on NBC at 3pm EST.
Due to the production detail of these exact replicas, they will be delivered in Spring of ’24 if minimums preorders are met.
