What’s Happening?

NASCAR has officially opened fan voting for the 2027 NASCAR Hall of Fame class. Here’s how you can have your voice heard in who makes it into the next class of NASCAR legends.

How do Fans Vote?

To vote, head to NASCAR.com and click the ballot link within their post about the fan vote. Once you have entered your name and email, you will be taken to a voting page where you can select two names from the Modern Era Ballot and one from the Pioneer Ballot.

Voting is open until May 17 at noon ET, and users can vote once a day until voting closes.

Who is on the Ballot?

The 2026 NASCAR Hall of Fame ballots are stacked, with ten names on the Modern Era Ballot, five on the Pioneer Ballot, and five names up for the Landmark Award.

Names that stand out on the Modern Era Ballot include Kevin Harvick, Greg Biffle, Jeff Burton, Neil Bonnett, Tim Brewer, Jack Sprague, and Randy LaJoie. On the Pioneer Ballot, the other ballot that fans have a voice in, names like Herb Nab, Larry Phillips, and Harry Hyde are up for a spot.

How does HOF Voting Work?

While fans have a say in the voting process, the real work will be done by the Hall of Fame voting panel on May 19 in Charlotte, where they will cast their votes, and, per the outcome of the tallied votes, three names will join the Hall of Fame.
