What’s Happening?
Frankie Muniz has worn many hats, from film sets to ad shoots, and now he is back behind the wheel in NASCAR, chasing laps for a living. Racing was something he was always interested in, and now, he has begun to find his footing, too. After a full season in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Reaume Brothers Racing last year, Muniz has returned for another season with the same outfit and the same No. 33 Ford Truck.
- The now 40-year-old made his full-time racing debut just a few seasons ago in the ARCA Menards series. During that 2024 season with Rette Jones Racing, Muniz came home fourth in the standings, backed by 10 top-ten finishes and one run inside the top five. Muniz dipped back into ARCA in 2024 for a pair of starts, logging a top-10 finish at Talladega and a 12th-place run at Michigan.
- Alongside this, Muniz made his National Serise debuts in 2024. In the Xfinity Series, he made three starts, though solid results were harder to come by, with finishes of 33rd at Daytona and 30th at Phoenix, while a start at Portland slipped through his fingers after he failed to qualify.
- This past season, Muniz locked in on the Truck Series for his first full-time National Series Season.
- Despite this new focus, his 2025 season hit a wall after an accident at his home in Arizona left him with a distal radius fracture in his wrist, forcing him to sit out four races, missing races at Darlington, Bristol, New Hampshire, and Charlotte Roval. This time around, the plan is to go the distance, with Muniz set for a full slate if things go as planned.
