What’s Happening?

Following the conclusion of the first stage of the NASCAR Xfinity Series season opener at Daytona, actor-turned-racer Frankie Muniz gets tangled up in an on-track incident collecting several heavy-hitting contenders.

You Need To Know:

  • Throughout most of the offseason, Frankie Muniz’s 2024 plans were very much so up in the air. After a somewhat successful year racing full-time in the ARCA Menards Series, it was announced in early 2024 that Muniz would be making the jump to the Xfinity Series, racing part-time for Joey Gase Motorsports in the No. 35 entry.
  • Muniz, as a rookie, did fairly well in 2023 driving the No. 30 Ford Mustang. Early on in the season, he led in the points standings and ended the year in the 4th position with 1 top-5 finish and 11 top-10s.
  • Muniz is a fan-favorite driver and many fans online hate to see his 2024 season start off with a crash in Daytona.
