Stanton Barrett Motorsports is set to return to the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series for the first time since 2008 through a new partnership with Cope Family Racing.

CFR announced this partnership via a post on Facebook Monday afternoon.
The team will also take on a new name, SBM with CFR, and field the No. 30 car with veteran Crew Chief George Church calling the shots, though the team has yet to announce drivers for the coming year.
SBM last competed in the NASCAR secondary series in 2008, finishing with Kenny Hendrick in 14 of their 18 races that season. The team competed in the NASCAR Nationwide/Busch Series from 2002 until 2008, finishing no better than 13th in 95 starts.
SBM is also reuniting with the No. 30 as part of their return to NASCAR, with the team having utilized that number during the 2008 season. The number has not been used in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series since 2024, when Noah Gragson entered four races with Rette Jones Racing.
Cope Family Racing debuted in the NASCAR Xfinity Series this past season, making 31 starts between drivers Leland Honeyman, Thomas Annunziata, and Will Rodgers.
Despite their upstart stats, the team had some impressive runs, including two top ten finishes with Honeyman at Atlanta and Talladega.
