Eric Estepp has now sat down and watched the entirety of NASCAR Full Speed on Netflix. Is it any good? Here is what Eric had to say on his most recent Out of the Groove.
- Eric will be coming at this from a NASCAR fan perspective. However, he will point out things that will appeal to a new fan.
- Eric believes this appeals to both new and existing fans. He calls it a “Strong entry point” while also giving hardcore fans cool and interesting behind-the-scenes content. He believes this show depicted the 2023 season authentically.
- Eric also looks at the driver stars that Netflix focused on. He believes Denny Hamlin was the star while giving an interesting background to Hamlin’s story. Other individuals emphasized include Bootie Barker, William Byron, Ross Chastain, and Ryan Blaney. Some big-name drivers were almost nonexistent.
- Eric is critical of some elements of the show. He believes the show is fast-paced, but that sometimes makes it a bit too surface-level for Eric. However, he credits the show for being authentic.
