What’s Happening?

One of NASCAR’s newest partners, the Dollar Tree and Family Dollar, has extended its sponsorship agreement with Legacy Motor Club through the 2028 season. For the foreseeable future, the brand will act as a primary sponsor on the team’s number 42 and 43 entries for John Hunter Nemechek and Erik Jones respectively.

  • The Dollar Tree and Family Dollar brands came aboard Legacy Motor Club as a primary sponsor for select races starting in 2024. Since joining the team, the brands have sponsored both J. H. Nemechek and Erik Jones. The brands also appeared on Jimmie Johnson’s number 84 entry last year at Dover.
  • The new contract extension means that LMC will have funding through 2028 from the brand. This could potentially be a big deal as the team eyes expansion for 2026.
