The Daytona 500 is NASCAR’s most prestigious event, and for back-to-back years, William Byron took home the Harley J. Earl Trophy, but the ending of the race may have left a sour taste in fans’s mouths. So, what did Eric Estepp think of this race? Find out in this Groovy Gauge Presented by Lectric eBikes.

Eric feels like the race was a roller-coaster; for every good, there’s one bad fact about the race
Showing frustration at the fact that another Daytona 500, the most prestigious race in NASCAR, ended up in a crash, thus coming down to “luck”, he feels like the race is losing its likeability because of it. The drivers need to be more in control, with luck needing to be less of a factor.
While he loved stage one and thought stage two was decent, despite good racing on the final stage, the wrecks took away from the race overall, hurting the score.
