What’s Happening?

Former Daytona 500 Champion and current NASCAR TV analyst Jamie McMurray is selling his massive North Carolina mansion for $11 million.

  • NASCAR drivers selling their homes is nothing new; however, their listings often go viral within the community. Like many other drivers, McMurray’s sits on Lake Norman near Mooresville, North Carolina, and has caught the attention of the fanbase for its massive size.
  • The home features five bedrooms, six bathrooms, two half bathrooms, and a pool. Per Evan Martinez of Homes of Celebs, McMurray purchased the land for $796,000 in 2011, before building his home on it in 2015.
  • One image that fans may enjoy is an office that features a wall of 48 helmets from his career, alongside several key trophies from his racing career. These trophies include his Harley J. Earl Trophy from the 2010 Daytona 500 and the 2010 Brickyard 400 trophy.
  • McMurray retired from racing full-time in 2018, but has made occasional returns to NASCAR since. He currently works as a TV analyst for FOX and TNT on pre-race shows, and as an in-booth analyst for the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series on the CW.
