Data Miners Reveal NASCAR Next Gen Cars Coming to Fortnite

All three NASCAR Cup Series Next Gen cars may be the newest addition to Rocket Racing as files from Fortnite’s latest update hint towards their impending inclusion in the game.

• Following the most recent update to Fortnite, a well-known leak account on X posted that the files for the three NASCAR Cup Series Next Gen car boy styles were included in the update. While there is no official announcement, fans are already excited by the potential inclusion of NASCAR in Fortnite.
• Rocket Racing is Fortnite’s in-game racing mode, with the arcade-style racers utilizing the game’s well-known arcade style. In past years, several NASCAR-themed maps were added to the game mode, though the game still lacked dedicated NASCAR cars.
• This is, of course, not the first time a NASCAR Next Gen car has joined a game in the Epic Games’ library, with Rocket League adding the cars to their lineup in 2021, with the Next Gen added in 2023. These cars came in the form of licensed drivers like Kevin Harvick, Kyle Larson, and Martin Truex Jr, giving fans hope that the new addition to Fortnite could feature a similar roster.
• While players can use select cars across each game, there has been no formal announcement on whether their addition to Fortnite will relate to their inclusion in Rocket League.
