What’s Happening?

NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr says that he currently has 19 songs selected and new features for the soundtrack to iRacing’s next NASCAR console game.

  • Earnhardt, an Executive Director at iRacing, was given the task of picking songs for the soundtrack to NASCAR 25. In January, much like he did for the first iRacing NASCAR console game, Earnhardt asked fans for song suggestions for the next game.
  • In a post to X on Thursday morning, Earnhardt confirmed that development on the next game’s soundtrack is coming along, with him hoping to get the rights to 19 songs for the game. This is likely not the entire soundtrack, as NASCAR 25 had a massive 26 songs.
  • Earnhardt also said in his post that he hopes to add a new feature to the game, allowing users to toggle what songs from the soundtrack play. This was one of the most requested missing features from NASCAR 25, and will likely be a hit with fans.
  • As of press time, there is no official announcement of when the next NASCAR console game will be released. Furthermore, iRacing has yet to confirm the game’s title as NASCAR 26.
