What’s Happening?

After posting its tenth consecutive week of one million or more viewers, The CW has continued to dominate year-to-year Xfinity Series ratings. Through the first ten races of 2025, NASCAR on the CW has over 1.5 million more viewers than FOX’s 2024 coverage.

  • Through the first ten races in 2025, the CW had a total of 11.880 million viewers and an average of 1.188 million viewers per race. In 2024, FOX Sports had 10.068 million viewers and an average of 1.007 million viewers through the same number of races.
  • Through these ten races, the CW has 1.812 million more viewers than FOX. The network showed its strength again this past weekend when the CW scored its tenth straight race with over one million or more viewers at Rockingham. In 2024, Fox only had four of its first ten races obtain more than a million viewers.
  • The highest of the ten-race stretch on FOX was week nine of the season at Talladega when they scored 1.602 million viewers. While the schedules have yet to overlap since Atlanta, week nine was the only week that FOX’s 2024 coverage beat the CW head-to-head. This year, week nine was at Bristol Motor Speedway, which had the lowest viewership of 2025, with 1.001 million viewers.
  • This weekend, however, the series finally heads to Talladega, which will surely add to the CW’s already mammoth total of viewers in 2025. This race will go head-to-head with the 2024 Darlington race, which had a mere 0.782 million viewers.
