- LaJoie will drive the No. 01 for RWR on a part-time basis. RWR is entering one full-time and one part-time car in 2025 after leasing their Charter, assumed to be the No. 15, to RFK Racing for their new No. 60. LaJoie will also enter the Daytona 500 as an open entry with sponsorship from DuraMAX Oil and Take 5 Oil Change.
- Alongside this, LaJoie and Danielle Trotta will host the pre-and post-race shows for NASCAR’s new coverage on Amazon Prime Video. Prime Video has exclusive coverage of Five NASCAR Cup Series races beginning on May 25. LaJoie is already a member of NASCAR’s media via his podcast, Stacking Pennies.
- Stacking Pennies is also the source of his new Number, No. 01. LaJoie told Bob Pockrass of FOX Sports that this new number marks a new period in his career. This follows many years of racing the No. 07, or his father’s No. 7.
- Last season, LaJoie moved to Rick Ware Racing’s No. 51 late in the season. Most insiders expected him to remain in the car for 2025. However, a January rumor that RWR subsequently confirmed that the now single-charter team will enter Cody Ware in the No. 51.
- For now, this is LaJoie’s plan for 2025. He was clear during his free agency, which essentially began last summer, that he prefers to stay in Cup Series racing even if it limits his schedule.
