- Zilisch has made select starts in the Truck Series with Spire in the past and will drive the No. 71 truck for the team. This will mark his first Truck Series race since his outing with Spire at the Charlotte Roval last fall.
- While Zilisch is a lock for Rookie of the Year in the Cup Series, as he has no competition, the move to the Cup Series has not been smooth. This slow start is also despite an incredible run in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, where he scored ROY and 10 wins for JR Motorsports.
- Zilisch’s track record in the Truck Series pales in comparison to his time in the OAP Series. In eight starts, Zilisch has yet to win a race, with two top-fives and three top-tens flanking his best career finish of fourth.
- The 19-year-old has a solid track record at the Glen, having won an ARCA race and the past two NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series races. His luck has not translated to Trucks, however, with an eighth-place finish last season in his only truck start at the Glen.
