What’s Happening
Bayley Currey will scale back his schedule with Niece Motorsports in 2025 after a full-time season in 2024. The No. 41, which Currey drove full-time last year, will also have Ross Chastain and Matt Gould as drivers this season.
We’ve got some familiar faces behind the wheel of the #41 this year! 👋

- Currey scored just one top-ten in what was an all-around disappointing 2024 season following his stellar part-time effort in 2023. Late in the season, as Niece continued to confirm their 2025 lineup, there was no confirmation of Currey’s return.
- One notable change at Niece that made fans suspicious of Currey’s future at the team was the signing of Kaden Honeycutt. With this announcement, Niece would bring the No. 45 full-time, with most suspecting this meant that the No. 41 would return to part-time.
- With this confirmation, the No. 41 will also see the return of NASCAR Cup Series regular Ross Chastain to the Niece in 2025. All five of Chastain’s Craftsman Truck Seris wins, including a win at Darlington last Spring, came with Niece. Chastain will race for Niece at Homestead, Charlotte, Michigan, Indianapolis Raceway Park, and Watkins Glen.
- Matt Gould will be the other driver of the No. 41. Gould is the son of long-time Niece Crew Chief Phil Gould. Gould made his Truck Series debut with Niece last season, scoring a best finish of 27th in two starts.
