During Craftsman Truck Series practice at Rockingham, Carson Hocevar, serving as an Analyst for FOX Sports, announced his upcoming Truck Series schedule. The 22-year-old will enter four races in Spire Motorsports’ No. 7 truck, with the first scheduled for May 2 at Texas Motor Speedway.
- After the May 2 race in Texas, Hocevar will race in Kansas on May 10, Michigan on June 7, and Pocono on June 20. Notably, Chili’s and its Ride the Dente branding will grace the hood of Truck for only the second time when Hocevar races in Texas.
- Veteran Crew Chief Brian Pattie will continue to call the shots for the No. 7 in these four races. Spire’s No. 07 and No. 7 trucks are considered “all-star” trucks and feature a rotating door of drivers.
- The No. 7 alone has already had Kyle Busch, Justin Haley, and Corey Day behind the wheel this season. Busch won in his solo start at Atlanta and is the defending race winner at TMS, having won in the No. 7 last spring.
- Hocevar has 77 career Truck Series starts and four wins. He has, however, never made a start for Spire Motorsports, as he cut his teeth with fellow Chevrolet team Niece Motorsports from 2020 to 2023. In fact, his first Truck Series and National Series win came at TMS in the spring of 2023.
