- Dillon will return to the Series for its May 2 race at Texas Motor Speedway. This entry will mark his first race in the Series since the fall 2025 race at Iowa Speedway, where he took over for Josh Williams in Kaulig Racing’s No. 11.
- That start at Iowa was one of two for the former OAP Series Champion, also driving the No. 3 for Richard Childress Racing at Charlotte. At Charlotte Dillon finished 13th, and at Iowa he finished 14th.
- Though he is a NASCAR Cup Series winner at Texas, Dillon has yet to win at the track in 11 starts. That’s not to say that he hasn’t been competitive at the track, with Dillon scoring a top ten in all 11 career starts.
- Dillon is just one of a handful of drivers not to make a NASCAR OAP Series start under the expanded rules for Cup Series drivers. Those rules state that drivers can now enter 10 OAP Series races and 8 Craftsman Truck Series races.
