MATT NIEHAUS

That guy you’ve seen on TikTok talking about cars going right and sometimes left.

This week, Atlanta Motor Speedway gave us something to be very excited about then it was taken away very shortly by another paywall. Brake Hard is here to give you updates on all of these storylines, including a wet weather test.

  • In the Era where NASCAR cares more about ratings than anything else the time of the Saturday night races was slowly disappearing, but luckily Atlanta Motor Speedway has announced that they will be running a night race next season. What other tracks do you think should run night races?
  • Something a lot of NASCAR fans like to do is go online and watch the in-car camera of your favorite driver. Unfortunately, next year we’re not gonna be able to do that as all cameras will be streamed on HBO Max. Would you buy a subscription to Max to watch the in-car cameras?
  • NASCAR has run on wet tracks multiple times now and I’d say it’s been a success but now they are gonna do a wet weather test at Homestead Miami Speedway potentially bringing wet weather tires to intermediate tracks. What other tracks do you think NASCAR should test this at?

Do you think running at night will hurt the ratings? Are intermediate tracks too dangerous for wet-weather tires? Let Brake Hard know all of your thoughts and questions in the comment section.
