What’s Happening?

Canadian racer Amber Balcaen will spend more time behind the wheel in ARCA this season. She and Nitro Motorsports will team up for a part-time effort in 2025.

  • There are few details about this partnership; however, the team’s press release states that Balcaen will race at Daytona in February. This start will be followed by “select events” on the 2025 ARCA schedule.
  • Nitro Motorsports is joining the ARCA Menards Series after previously competing in the Trans Am TA2 Series and the Toyota GR Cup Series. They will have an alliance with Toyota’s Venturini Motorsports, which they announced in November.
  • Balcaen joins Thad Moffitt as the team’s only confirmed driver. However, Moffitt will race full-time in the team’s No. 46 rather than part-time like Balcaen.

Last season, Balcaen entered the full 20-race season with Venturini. She had a best finish of sixth at Kansas and finished sixth in points.

Her entry joins a high-quality list of drivers in the ARCA 200 at Daytona, which will be live on FOX for the first time.
