- Kim Coon, Trevor Bayne, and Marty Snider will serve as pit road reporters during Prime Video’s five-race coverage this season. Coon has worked for NBC Sports in the past and currently works for NASCAR on the CW’s coverage of the Xfinity Series. Snider serves a similar role at NBC, while Bayne currently works as an analyst for FOX.
- The streaming service also confirmed that NASCAR Hall of Famer Carl Edwards will join Corey LaJoie and Danielle Trotta as hosts of Prime Video’s pre- and post-race shows. LaJoie is the only active driver involved with the network, as he currently races part-time for Rick Ware Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series.
- The network previously announced its play-by-play booth on Nov. 18. This booth consists of veteran play-by-play voice Adam Alexander, Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr., and NBC Sports Crew Chief analyst Steve Letarte. This group will also call races for NASCAR on TNT, which takes over for five races at the conclusion of Prime Video’s coverage this summer.
- Prime Video is the first streaming service to lock down exclusive race broadcast rights for a NASCAR National Series. The network also has exclusive rights to a majority of practice and qualifying coverage for the first half of the season. Prime’s exclusive Cup Series coverage kicks off on May 25 with the Coca-Cola 600 and concludes on Jun. 22 at Pocono.
