Alpha Prime Racing announced Thursday that Xfinity Series veteran Brennan Poole will return to the team in 2025. Poole is coming off his first full-time season with Alpha Prime, one in which he was their best statistical driver.
- After a great first season driving the No. 44, Alpha Prime Racing is bringing fan-favorite underdog Brennan Poole back for another season. Poole, a veteran of the Xfinity Series, has ten career top-fives and 39 top-tens in 155 career races.
- Alpa Prime Racing currently fields one part-time and two full-time NASCAR Xfinity Series entries. Despite not having won a race, the team has shown improvement over the past few seasons.
- Poole will have a new teammate in 2025. The driver of the Alpha Prime No. 43, Ryan Ellis, will depart Alpha Prime to race for DGM Racing in 2025, making Poole the team’s tenured driver in 2025.
- In his first season with the team, Poole has one top-five and two top-tens. However, a deeper look at the stats shows that Brennan is the team’s best statistical option, posting a 20.1 average finish to Ellis’ 23.9.
- Poole, now 33, spent several years floating around the NASCAR National Series before landing a full-time ride with Alpha Prime for 2024. Along with his racing duties, Poole also co-hosts the Power Hour Podcast with YouTuber Eric Estepp.
