What’s Happening?

There are three races left in the NASCAR Series season, and each race now means more than ever. Here is a quick guide to ensure you don’t miss a minute of action.

This year marked the first season of NASCAR’s new media rights deal. While it expanded access for non-cable users to watch the NASCAR Xfinity Series on the CW, it took away several NASCAR Cup Series events from free, over-the-air TV.

While these races were moved to FS1 in the spring, TNT in the Summer, and USA in the fall, the final three races of the NASCAR Cup Series season mark a turning point in the NASCAR broadcast schedule.

Starting this weekend at Talladega, these three races will feature flag-to-flag coverage on NBC, marking the first time the network has broadcast a race since August 23. Furthermore, NBCUniversal has expanded coverage to those on the go, with access to the races available for free via the Peacock App.

NASCAR Cup Series TV Schedule October 19 through November 2:

October 19 – YellaWood 500 – Talladega Superspeedway
