OOTG: SHR’s Future with Ford, and Jenson Button Pushing for a Race in Europe

A mid-week Out of the Groove focuses on some of the fallout from NASCAR’s most recent big stories. Eric discusses both the fallout from Josh Berry’s signing with Stewart-Haas Racing and Jenson Button’s comments about NASCAR in Europe following Garage 56.

• There is a Texas Motor Speedway reconfiguration being worked on iRacing.
• Could Stewart-Haas Racing move away from Ford? If so, would it work?
• If NASCAR wants to go to Europe, they may have to be comfortable playing second fiddle to someone.

If NASCAR wants to go international, they need to take a hard look as to what it may look like. Aside from that, there are serious questions about whether or not Ford is the best place for a rebuilding Stewart-Haas Racing to be.
