What’s Happening?

EchoPark Speedway in Atlanta confirmed its two 2027 NASCAR race weekends, including a new second race weekend for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series on Tuesday afternoon.

  • Per a press release from the track, EchoPark’s first race weekend of 2027 will once again follow up the Daytona 500 on the weekend of February 26 to 28. This race weekend, which has been moved back a week due to the Daytona 500’s new race weekend, will once again feature all three NASCAR National Series.
  • However, there are more drastic changes to the track’s summer race weekend. That race will once again feature two NASCAR National Series, with the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series stepping away and the Truck Series taking over.
  • As of press time, there is no confirmation of which track will take over EchoPark’s summer OAP Series date. The series added a second race weekend at the track in 2021, and has joined the Cup Series at the track twice yearly since then.
  • EchoPark is the latest track to confirm its 2027 race weekend, with Daytona announcing its plans, alongside the return of the Clash early Tuesday morning. For more on the 2027 schedule, make sure to check out our tracker linked below.
