FOX, Prime Video, and TNT Sports have wrapped up their portions of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season. Now, the spotlight shifts to the sport’s longtime broadcast partner, USA Sports and NBC, for the final stretch of the championship battle.
Beginning with the Iowa Corn 350 on August 9, USA Sports and NBC will carry the final 14 races of the season, including the return of The Chase, before the champion is crowned at the stomping grounds of Homestead-Miami Speedway.
While plenty of familiar faces are returning, NBC and USA Sports have assembled a lineup that combines seasoned broadcasters, championship-winning drivers, former crew chiefs, and veteran pit reporters to guide fans through the final stretch of the 2026 season.
Here’s a look at the complete NASCAR on NBC and USA Sports broadcast lineup for 2026.
The lead broadcast booth stays the same from 2025, with familiar names calling the shots, as Leigh Diffey handles play-by-play alongside analysts Jeff Burton and Steve Letarte.
Diffey returns after taking over lead NASCAR play-by-play duties nearly two years ago from long-time voice Rick Allen. His role as a storyteller becomes even more significant this year with NASCAR’s return to the Chase format.
Letarte, meanwhile, brings the crew chief’s perspective. The former championship-winning Hendrick Motorsports crew chief remains one of the sport’s most respected analysts, having worked both in-house for NASCAR and on TV for Prime Video and TNT Sports.
Burton, nicknamed “The Mayor,” rounds out the booth with the perspective of a former Cup Series driver, offering insight into race strategy, driver decisions, and the nuances that often go under the radar during a race.
All in all, the trio will call all 14 races airing under the USA Sports banner, whether they’re broadcast on USA Network or NBC.
No NASCAR broadcast is complete without information from pit road, and USA Sports has assembled an experienced reporting team for the 2026 stretch run. Veteran reporter Marty Snider returns to lead pit-road coverage, joined by longtime NASCAR reporter Kim Coon and experienced broadcaster Dave Burns.
The biggest addition, this time, however, is 2011 Daytona 500 champion Trevor Bayne, who joins the pit-reporting team with experience from other networks. In addition, at select races, Bayne will report live from inside the pace car before green-flag conditions, giving fans an entirely different perspective of the racetrack and race-day operations.
According to USA Sports higher-ups, the pace-car feature is designed to induce a fresh viewing experience while offering insights unavailable through traditional race coverage.
Before the green flag waves each weekend, USA Sports will air a dedicated pre-race show featuring Snider, Brad Daugherty, and NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Jarrett.
The trio will host the pre-race show from the USA Sports Pit Box, setting the stage for each weekend with the day’s biggest storylines, championship implications, and most importantly, interviews with guest drivers.
Jarrett, the 1999 Cup Series champion, remains one of the most recognizable voices in NASCAR television, while Daugherty adds the perspective of a longtime team owner who has spent years covering the sport from the broadcast side as well.
Snider, for his part, will wear two hats, leading the pre-race coverage before making his way to pit road once the green flag drops.
With “The Chase” making a long-sought return this season, fans can expect the conversation to revolve around who is building momentum, who is slipping, and which teams are putting themselves in position to contend for the championship.
