Top Toyota Prospect Set for NASCAR Debut

What’s Happening?

Toyota Prospect Gavan Boschele will make his NASCAR National Series debut this weekend in the Craftsman Truck Series race at Indianapolis Raceway Park.

  • The 18-year-old will drive the No. 1 for Tricon Garage this weekend. Per his website, his “multi-race” deal with the team includes three starts as of press time, with starts at Richmond Raceway and New Hampshire Motor Speedway later this season.
  • Boschele made his ARCA Menards Series debut last season for Venturini Motorsports at Berlin Raceway and has continued his efforts part-time with Nitro Motorsports in 2026. In his five starts with the team this year, Boschele has four top-five finishes.
  • Prior to making his way to the national levels of the sport, Boschele made his name in Late Models. Last year, he made a splash by winning the Orange Blossom 100 at New Smyrna Speedway.
  • Boschele joins a growing list of drivers to pilot the No. 1 for Tricon this season. So far, that list includes Taylor Gray, Corey Heim, Dario Franchitti, William Sawalich, Brandon Jones, Brent Crews, Jimmie Johnson, Thomas Annunziata, and Nick Leitz.
