What’s Happening?

More than a week after the passing of Kyle Busch, NASCAR Nation is still coming to terms with the loss of its beloved “Rowdy” Busch. With drivers and team using their cars to pay tribute to the NASCAR legend.

Following Busch’s passing, tributes poured in throughout the Coca-Cola 600 weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway, where Busch’s family attended a pre-race ceremony honoring one of the sport’s most influential and polarizing figures.

Now, as the NASCAR Cup Series heads down the road, drivers from different corners of the sport are finding their own ways to celebrate Busch’s legacy. Here are all the known Kyle Busch tribute paint schemes running throughout the 2026 season.

NASCAR Cup Series

No. 47/Ricky Stenhouse Jr./Hyak Motorsports

NOS Energy Drink – Kyle Busch NOS Energy Tribute

Many found it somewhat funny that Ricky Stenhouse Jr. would be the first NASCAR driver to run a Kyle Busch tribute scheme.

The two drivers famously clashed during the 2024 NASCAR All-Star Race, with their rivalry boiling over into a post-race confrontation. But at Nashville this weekend, those differences have been put aside.

Stenhouse Jr.’s No. 47 NOS Energy Chevrolet will carry the same iconic NOS Energy colors Busch drove to dozens of victories throughout his NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series career.

CARS Tour

No. 51/Donovan Strauss/AK Performance

Kyle Busch NOS Energy Tribute

Donovan Strauss is the first driver outside NASCAR’s National Series ranks to honor Busch on track.

The Late Model driver grew up idolizing Busch and openly credited the late great for shaping his passion for racing. Following Busch’s passing, Strauss shared memories of spending entire race weekends cheering for his childhood hero.

For Langley Speedway, Strauss’ AK Performance entry will adopt Busch’s famous NOS Energy paint scheme that became synonymous with many of his NOAPS victories. Furthermore, the design carries further historical significance, as the 41-year-old used a similar NOS-themed No. 51 Super Late Model racecar during his first Snowball Derby victory in 2009.

This article will be updated throughout the season as new Paint Schemes drop.
