What’s Happening?
This weekend, NASCAR fans can get the chance to get up close to the cars and stars of NASCAR at Victory Junction’s Gears & Guitars event in downtown Nashville.

This Friday, the NASCAR world collides with the streets of Nashville as Peanut Patch, Stock Car Classics, The Daily Downforce, Hank Williams Jr. Boogie Bar, Michael Waltrip’s Signature Floor, Tablo TV, and Brent Underwood support Victory Junction in hosting its first annual Gears & Guitars.
The two-part event welcomes fans and locals to Hank Williams Jr. Boogie Bar in downtown Nashville for a classic NASCAR car show and an appearance from Hyak Motorsports driver and 2023 Daytona 500 Champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
The lineup of cars is stacked, featuring show cars and historic race cars, including a Jeff Gordon Monte Carlo and a specialty-built 1964 Plymouth Belvedere, a one-for-one replica of the exact car Richard Petty drove to the 1964 Daytona 500 and Series Championship.
Later that night, fans are also welcomed to a special concert at Hank Williams Jr. Boogie Bar featuring artists Bart Lattimore, Daniel Cain, Nicholas Vernon, and Ben Miller & Co.
During the concert, social media influencer Hannah Dasher will host a special meet-and-greet, along with a silent auction featuring items signed by Richard and Kyle Petty.
What is Victory Junction?
Victory Junction is the result of the vision of late fourth-generation NASCAR driver Adam Petty.
Petty, who passed away during a practice crash during the 2000 season, wanted a place where children living with complex medical and physical needs could have experiences that would usually be challenging for them.
After Adam’s passing, his family and the NASCAR community worked to make this dream a reality, with Victory Junction, located in Randleman, North Carolina, opening its doors to campers in June 2004.
