- Van Gisbergen, who races full-time with Trackhouse in the NASCAR Cup Series, will drive Niece’s No. 4 Truck in the May 8 race at Watkins Glen. This will be his first Truck Series start since he raced for Niece at Indianapolis Raceway Park in 2023.
- Notably, this race will also mark his first Truck Series start on a road course. SVG is the defending Cup Series winner at the track and won a dominant five of six road course races in the Cup Series last season.
- The 36-year-old is no stranger to competing in NASCAR’s lower divisions since going full-time in the Cup Series. Last season and so far this season, he has won NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series races with JR Motorsports.
- SVG joins a list of rotating names in the No. 4 truck this season. Among those who have driven or will drive the truck are Garrett Mitchell, Ben Maier, Connor Hall, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and Donovan Strauss.
