- This will mark the second-generation drivers’ fourth season at JAR, where he is the driver who scored the team’s only win to date. When he signed with JAR in 2023, Burton was the team’s second-ever full-time driver and has since become the team’s longest-tenured driver.
- During the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, Burton, the son of 2002 Daytona 500 Champion Ward Burton, failed to find victory lane. However, late in the season, the No. 27 team found itself battling Jeb’s cousin, Harrison, for a spot in the NASCAR playoffs, although they would ultimately fall short.
- Burton has raced in the NASCAR National Series since 2012, competing full-time in the Craftsman Truck Series in 2013 and 2014, and in the O’Reilly Auto Parts [formerly Xfinity] Series since 2021. In total, the Virginia native has three combined NASCAR National Series wins, one in the Truck Series and two in the OAPS.
- During his time at JAR, Burton has had two teammates: Parker Retzlaff in 2023 and 2024, and Blaine Perkins in 2025. Most expect Perkins to also return to the team in 2026.
