- JRM previously announced that two of their four full-time cars, the No. 1 and No. 88, will transition to part-time status with full-time drivers in 2026.
- The No. 1 will be shared by Carson Kvapil and Trackhouse NASCAR Cup Series Rookie Connor Zilisch, while the No. 88 will be driven by Spire Motorsports’ Truck Series veteran Rajah Caruth and another driver to be named later. The No. 9, however, will seemingly remain the team’s part-time entry in 2026, with van Gisbergen and Chastain returning for more action.
- So far, JRM has entered the No. 9 in ten races amongst four different drivers this season. The car scored seven top-fives and eight top-tens with van Gisbergen and his soon-to-be former Trackhouse Racing teammate Daniel Suarez, winning at Chicago and Mexico City, respectively.
- Suarez and Connor Mosack, who piloted the car to a top five at the ROVAL, have not been announced to be driving the No. 9 in 2026 as of press time. JRM has also yet to announce Chastain and van Gisbergen’s schedules; however, another road course-heavy schedule for SVG and an oval-centric schedule for Chastain seem like reasonable conclusions.
