2023 – Just Shy of the Finish
In 2023, the NASCAR Cup Series race at EchoPark Speedway was cut short due to rain. This race, which was the most recent to take place in the summer, was scheduled to be 260 laps but ended prematurely, 185 laps in.
This race saw William Byron walk away with the win after leading just 19 laps. However, Aric Almirola dominated for the majority of the evening after sitting on the pole. In total, Almirola led 46 laps but ultimately brought his Stewart-Haas Racing No. 10 home in 18th.
