What’s Happening?
Friday afternoon, Noah Gragson and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. had short back and fourth online following a post Gragson made about a run in the two almost had at COTA last Saturday. While it seems playful, some fans are wondering if their is any real tension between the two drivers.

- The dialogue between the two starts with a quote reposted from Gragson about onboard footage of Gragson’s lap five slide that almost took out Stenhouse Sunday afternoon. Gragson stated, “So close to getting @StenhouseJr back from Daytona.”
- While this could be playful banter, Gragson bringing up Daytona should not be overlooked. With 15 laps to go in the 2025 Daytona 500, Stenhouse boldly attempted to block a run from Joey Logano, who Gragson was pushing. The resulting move saw eight cars, including Gragson and other contenders.
- Stenhouse quoted Gragson’s initial post, stating, “Need to run more dirt, sent that a little fast for a slide job. While this seemed to be a fun jab at his peer, Gragson responded with a snappy, “Can’t hear you that far down the leaderboard. Speak up.”
- Fans are confused as to whether this is an actual argument, whether both drivers are messing with each other, or whether Gragson reacted with intent. If there are tensions between one or both parties, they are not the only ones to do so after COTA, as multiple Xfinity Series drivers did so following Saturday’s race.
