NASCAR FS1 Ratings Boost

NASCAR rarely has a lot of good news to talk about, but luckily, this week, we do. Waivers were given out, numbers were given back, and the best news of all is that Bologna Burger gets to take us through all of it. 

• After weeks of debate and discussion, Kyle Larson has finally gotten his waiver, and NASCAR didn’t make a decision that would put a significant asterix placed next to the 2024 champion. Do you think this rule will be changed next off-season?
• It’s clear that some people in NASCAR did not necessarily agree with Kyle Larson getting a waiver, which is why it took so long. Do you think next year we will see significant penalties in place for missing a race? 
• The Cup Series race from Gateway had a viewership of nearly 2.5 million viewers. There’s a lot that could be the reason for this boost in viewership. Do you think the rising viewership is due to the new NASCAR show on Netflix or Chase Elliott’s absence from Gateway last year?
