The toy conglomerate releases exclusive images of their first ever collaboration with NASCAR

What’s Happening?

On the first day of March in 2023 via a press release, NASCAR and LEGO revealed their first collaborative effort, introducing a 672-piece LEGO set in the form of a NASCAR NextGen car complete with true-to-life features such as cockpit steering and a replica V8 engine with moving pistons under an opening hood.

The LEGO set will be featured in the NASCAR KidZone areas located at all NASCAR-owned racetracks and will be branded with a number 75 decal to honor the NASCAR 75th Diamond Anniversary celebration that is taking place all throughout the 2023 season.

You Need To Know:

  • This licensing agreement between NASCAR and LEGO is the latest attempt to attract a more youthful audience.
  • Still in the year 2023, the average age within the NASCAR fandom is over 40 years of age. That is not sustainable for the sport’s long-term success, thus NASCAR are making moves in attempt to change that, this collaboration with the iconic LEGO brand being the most recent.
  • NASCAR also hopes that the intricate moving parts of the V8 engine will spark some interest for kids to enter the field of engineering, which is a vital side of the NASCAR business.

The Main Characters

NASCAR, in attempt to generate a younger audience, struck a deal with the massive toy manufacturer, LEGO, to release this groundbreaking toy in celebration of the sport’s 75th anniversary.

As a part of the deal, LEGO will have stations set up in the KidZone at every NASCAR-owned track on the circuit. Here are just a couple of glimpses, first with a LEGO building station:

Kids will love this product and it is surely on track to becoming an exclusive NASCAR diecast collectable!
