The Mysterious Disappearance of Mario Rossi

Mario Rossi was a crew chief and mechanic in NASCAR for over 20 years. He was a crew chief for drivers like Fireball Roberts and Bobby Allison and won 13 races in NASCAR’s top level. He decided to retire from NASCAR in 1976, but his retirement didn’t last as long as he would have hoped. In 1982, after visiting his family in Trenton, New Jersey for the Christmas season, his sister dropped him off at Philadelphia Airport to return home to Florida.

However, this would be the last time Mario would be seen. On January 2nd, 1983, Mario’s sister received a phone call from an unknown woman who told her that her brother was dead. In this video, we talk about Mario Rossi’s mysterious disappearance and the leading theories of what happened.
