  • For this list, we will focus on the cheapest options to buy directly from the race tracks. What are the cheapest options that every race track offers?

Talladega offers free camping at four different lots with the purchase of a grandstand ticket, and, Pocono offers two ticket packages that come with a free general admission camping spot.

Texas Motor Speedway and Atlanta Motor Speedway both offer camping and RV options that are under $100. North Wilkesboro and COTA each offer a tent option for exactly $100.

As far as the most expensive, some tracks already have much of their camping sold for the upcoming year. Daytona, for example, has nothing available for the Daytona 500 weekend.

Indianapolis is by far the most expensive with their only option being $1200 for a race weekend. Four other tracks have their cheapest RV options priced at over $300, being Gateway, Watkins Glen, Nashville, North Wilkesboro, and COTA.

NASCAR Track Camping Discounts

There are not very many camping discounts available for fans at the race track. Good Sam Club members can get discounts at Darlington (15% off select lots), Kansas (Weekend Tickets PLUS Camping $295), Talladega ($20 off GEICO West Park), and Homestead-Miami (20% off reserved, non-reserved, or tent camping).

It does not seem that NASCAR offers the same kinds of discounts for camping that they do for tickets. If fans want to look for a cheap camping option, they need to look directly at the race tracks.

Some events have places fans can camp outside of the race track. For example, Hayes State Park is just down the street from Michigan International Speedway, and that place offers camping during a race weekend.

How will you go about your next NASCAR camping experience? Are there even more creative ways to find cheap camping at a NASCAR track?
