Tony Stewart Returns to Full Time Racing

Tony Stewart announces he will race a full schedule in NHRA's Top Alcohol class.

Former NASCAR champion and Hall of Famer Tony Stewart announced Tuesday that he will race a Top Alcohol Dragster for McPhillips Racing in 2023 with Mobil 1 as his primary sponsor. Stewart started an NHRA team in 2022 fielding Top Fuel entries in the dragster and Funny Car classes. That move came shortly after marrying long time Top Fuel racer Leah Pruett. The driver they call Smoke made his Top Alcohol debut last October at the Nevada Nationals where he finished second.
