What’s Happening?

The Daily Downforce will be riding along with Jon Garrett this weekend as he races in the ARCA Menards Series in the Reese’s 200 at Indianapolis Raceway Park. The race will start at 6 pm and be broadcast on FS1.

The 53-year-old Garrett was recently the subject of a NASCAR Pole Position profile highlighting how he got into racing. After nearly 20 years of racing sparingly, Garrett got back into the sport with three races in the ARCA Menards Series in 2022. He then worked his way into a full-time ride for the 2023 season.

This season, Garrett has run all 11 races for Dustin Hillenburg. Garrett has three top-10 finishes coming at Berlin, Iowa, and Michigan. He also sits in fifth place in the ARCA Menards Series points standings.

It’s the second time that the Daily Downforce has been the primary sponsor of a stock car this racing season. B.J. McLeod ran The Daily Downforce on the hood of “The Podcast Part Bus” at the Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway in May.
