A new media rights deal was signed this year so I think all NASCAR fans expected there to be some changes, but I don’t think anyone expected them to be this dramatic. The Iceberg is here to explain all of the changes to the Fox network that will be happening this year and next.
- Fox has been a big player in trying to get the media rights for INDYCAR. This could lead to INDYCAR and NASCAR sharing a broadcast home. Do you think Fox will show more priority to INDYCAR or NASCAR?
- Next year Fox will lose their portion of the Xfinity Series because all Xfinity Series racing will be on the CW network. Are you happy about this change? Do you think we’ll get a better broadcast booth?
- Weekdays at 6 o’clock was usually a fun time for me, but that will be ending soon since Fox canceled Race Hub that’s filled NASCAR fans with knowledge for years now. Do you think NASCAR will create its version of Race Hub in its production studio?
Do you think CW will perform just as well as Fox does? Do you think CW does better? Let The Iceberg know all of your thoughts and questions in the comment section.
