What’s Happening?

On Thursday, the CW, a new broadcast partner for NASCAR, released the entire 2025 Xfinity Series broadcast schedule after NASCAR released the 2025 NASCAR National Series schedule. However, the Xfinity Broadcast schedule provides some key previously unknown details about the 2025 Xfinity Series Schedule.

• NASCAR has a new TV contract for 2025. The Craftsman Truck Series remains on Fox. The Cup Series sends ten races to Amazon Prime and TNT, who join NBC Sports and Fox Sports. The most notable change is the Xfinity Series, whose entire rights shift to the CW Network for 2025.
• The CW is one of the largest broadcast networks in the United States. Its commitment to NASCAR is part of a broad addition of sports, including College Athletics and NFL Coverage. The network also snagged the final eight races of the Xfinity Series from NBC this season, with Rick Allen and the rest of the NBC booth back for the rest of the season.
• While the broadcast booth is unknown for 2025, a notable announcement from this schedule is that the CW will have a 30-minute to one-hour pre-race show. Another noteworthy aspect of the broadcast schedule is the start times for races in 2025, something still unknown from the other National Series schedules.
