What’s Happening?

Stewart-Haas Racing is reportedly doing a lot more than just selling a couple of charters. Matt Weaver of Sportsnaut reports, “[Stewart-Haas Racing’s] entire building and operation is said to be on the market as well”.

  • Stewart-Haas Racing is reportedly in the last year of their contract with Ford. This means that they have a lot of flexibility with their race team. This includes potential downsizing, or, maybe even selling their operation itself.
  • Bob Pockrass was the first to suggest that SHR’s building could be for sale. He says that the campus currently houses 2 buildings, one for NASCAR and one for Formula One. Should one building be sold, does that mean the entire operation is gone too as Weaver suggests?
  • Fans are curious to see what SHR does with their charters. The charter market is quite busy, and teams are looking to SHR for a place to buy charters.
