What’s Happening?

Kaz Grala will race in three upcoming NASCAR Xfinity Series races for Sam Hunt Racing. The 26-year-old previously raced full-time for the team in 2023.

  • Grala will pilot SHR’s No. 24 entry, a part-time car driven by the likes of Corey Heim, Christopher Bell, Jeffrey Earnhardt, Patrick Staropoli, and Ryan Truex this season. During his full-time season with SHR, Grala drove the team’s flagship No. 26, now driven by Dean Thompson.
  • During his full-time season with SHR, Grala scored two top-fives and nine top-tens. Though he has not made a start in the series since that season, Grala most recently drove part-time for Rick Ware Racing in their No. 15 in the 2024 Cup Series season.
  • Grala’s three-race schedule includes all road courses: first, on July 6 at the Chicago Street Circuit, then on Aug. 10 at Watkins Glen, and finally, on Oct. 5 at the Roval. This should be no surprise, as eight of Grala’s 19 career top-ten finishes, including four of his seven top-fives, have come on road courses.
