One of the most unexpected drivers to finish in the top five on Saturday night was Parker Retzlaff. Not only did he finish in the top five, but he had an opportunity to win. However, RCR and Chevy are mad at him for his actions. Brake Hard is here to break down everything going on with Parker Retzlaff.

  • On the final restart of the Coke Zero 400, Parker Retzlaff had the option to line up behind either Harrison Burton or Kyle Busch. Kyle wanted Christopher Bell to line up behind him, so Parker Retzlaff lined up behind Burton and pushed him to the win. Do you think this was a wrong move by Parker?
  • Before the final restart, Parker Retzlaff’s spotter told him not to push Harrison Burton to try to ensure a win for Chevy and RCR. He decided to go against these orders. Do you think RCR and Chevy have a right to be mad at Parker Retzlaff?
  • When Parker Retzlaff’s spotter told him not to push Harrison Burton, he was basically telling him not to go for a win. Since Kyle Busch was asking to be pushed by Christopher Bell, there was really no other option for him. Do you think it’s fair for the team to make these kinds of orders?

What would you do if you were in Parker Retzlaff’s last position? Are team orders beginning to creep their way into NASCAR? Let Brake Hard know all of your thoughts and questions in the comment section.
