Buckle up race fans, not only because it’s the law, but also because Dover Motor Speedway’s NASCAR race weekend is about to receive a special group of VIPs.
NASCAR Xfinity Series team JD Motorsports has partnered with the New Jersey State Police and its Troopers United Foundation to sponsor Dawson Cram’s No. 4 Chevrolet in the BetRivers 200 on Saturday, April 27.
The Blue and Gold No. 4 will prominently feature branding from the New Jersey State Police, The Troopers United Foundation, 2XL Imaging, Academy Bus, Valor Supplements, and CRA Financial.
“We are honored to join forces with JD Motorsports and the Troopers United Foundation in what promises to be an exciting day of racing,” said Colonel Patrick J. Callahan, Superintendent of the New Jersey State Police. “Our aim is to raise awareness and recruit individuals who are prepared to answer ‘A Call To Service’ and become part of the New Jersey State Police.”
Dawson Cram is an Xfinity Series rookie of the year candidate in his first year as a full-time driver with JD Motorsports. The son of former NASCAR Cup Series crew chief Kevin Cram, Dawson is excited to be representing the New Jersey State Police for the second consecutive year.
“I am very excited to return to Dover Motor Speedway this year sporting an awesome-looking Troopers United car,” said Cram. “Representing TUF is an honor, and I am excited to get them back on track this year!”
In addition to the partnership with JD Motorsports and Dawson Cram, the New Jersey State Police will bolster their NASCAR presence with an activation in the Fan Zone at Dover Motor Speedway and will have a billboard between Turns 1 and 2.
Tune in to watch the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Dover Motor Speedway on Saturday, April 27, at 1:30 p.m. The race will be broadcast on FS1, PRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Ch. 90).
