What’s Happening?
NASCAR has handed down expected penalties to two crew members but will not penalize crew members involved in a scuffle between RFK Racing’s No. 6 team and Joe Gibbs Racing’s No. 54.

- The two crew members suspended by NASCAR for one race are Rick Ware Racing’s Marquill Osborne and De’Quan Hampton. This is after the No. 51 lost a wheel during the race, and was expected to be part of Tuesday’s penalty report.
- However, most fans were curious whether NASCAR would take issue with a late pit road incident involving a member of Ty Gibbs’s pit crew and a member of Brad Keselowski’s crew. This momentary altercation followed Gibbs’ entering his pit stall, located in front of the No. 6 team, in a manner some have deemed reckless.
- These crew members and Gibbs were not featured on this week’s penalty report. But that hasn’t stopped RFK and Keselowski from taking shots on X. RFK Racing even posted helmet camera footage from the front tire changer during the pit stop.
- Alongside the two suspensions, NASCAR also issued monetary fines to three Xfinity Series teams: Austin Hill’s No. 21, Dean Thompson’s No. 26, and Brennan Poole’s No. 44.
