What’s Happening?

iRacing announced on Tuesday afternoon that it will include well-known NASCAR reporters and social media personalities in its upcoming NASCAR console game, NASCAR ’25.

These personalities and reporters are likely to be featured in the game’s in-depth career mode, though they could also make appearances in the game’s season mode. Among the names to show their involvement in the game are Jeff Gluck of The Athletic, nascarcasm, and Kelly Crandall.

Features like a social media feed are commonplace in many modern sports games and are no stranger to past NASCAR releases on previous generations of consoles.

Previously, during an episode of the Dale Jr Download, Dale Earnhardt Jr revealed that he and DJD co-host TJ Majors have also recorded audio for “about 30 or 45 different scenarios” in career mode. According to his post, these tweets will also be unique, with Gluck’s featuring his infamous ‘Good Race Poll’.

While little is known about how the career mode will play out, regarding player decision-making, the game will feature a first-of-its-kind addition. This addition comes in the form of the ARCA Menards Series, which, for the first time, serves as the entry-level series for the career mode.

NASCAR ’25 is now available for pre-order on XBOX Series X/S and PS5, with an official release date set for October 14. The gam will also be released on PC via Steam on November 11.
