Kevin Harvick Will Be Back Behind the Wheel

Former NASCAR Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick has made his plans known for next year after two late-model starts this season. Harvick mentioned on his podcast that in 2025, he plans on racing a 14 to 15-race schedule in different late-model divisions.

• Upon retiring last season, the 2014 NASCAR Cup Series Champion has stayed busy between working as an Analyst for Fox Sports, his podcast, and co-owning the ZMAX CARS Tour. Harvick bought into the CARS Tour with Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Burton, and Justin Marks last season, intending to grow it into the premiere Late Model series in the country.
• The ZMAX CARS tour hosts races in the Late Model Stock and Pro Late Model divisions. The tour also hosts a West Coast tour this season as part of an expansion effort. Harvick, notability began his career racing late models on the West Coast, including in the former NASCAR Southwest Series.
• This season, Harvick entered two late-model races. First, he entered a Super Late Model entry in the ASA Super Southern Series Busch Light 100 at Five Flags Speedway. Racing against Chase Elliott and Bubba Pollard, Harvick would finish 13th. The second was on Aug. 3, in the Late Model Stock division for the ZMAX Cars Tour’s Window World 125 at North Wilkesboro, where Harvick scored his first top-ten since returning to Late Model Racing.
• In the most recent episode of Kevin Harvick’s Happy Hour, he outlined his plans for 2025. This plan includes Super Late Model, Pro Late Model, and Late Model Stock Car division races. This plan is similar to that of Dale Earnhardt Jr. Earnhart, who began racing one-offs in Late Models after retirement and has entered more races to maintain his competitiveness in various divisions. Harvick cites a similar issue as the reason for an expanded schedule.
