Wisconsin native, Josh Bilicki, will make his second career start for Joe Gibbs Racing at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval on Saturday, October 12th. Bilicki will drive the No. 19 Toyota GR Supra with primary sponsorship from Insurance King and Trim-Tex Drywall Solutions.
Bilicki’s first start with JGR came at Portland Raceway in June, where the 29-year-old finished fourth in stage one, third in stage two, and was on track for an impressive finish before getting spun in stage three. Bilicki rebounded to finish 12th but has higher hopes for the upcoming Charlotte race.
“Our goal for Charlotte is to run inside of the top five all day, stay out of trouble, and be in contention for a win at the end,” says Bilicki. “This group is coming off of a win at Kansas, so we’ve got some positive momentum on our side. I am so thankful for this opportunity from Joe Gibbs Racing and for our amazing partners who stepped up to make this happen.”
Long-time supporters of Bilicki, Insurance King, and Trim-Tex Drywall Products, will share the primary sponsorship spots on the No. 19 Toyota GR Supra. Insurance King, a Rockford, IL-based insurance agency, will be featured on the Gibbs’ car for the first time. Trim-Tex Drywall Solutions was featured as a co-primary sponsor at Portland in June.
Secondary sponsorship comes from American Equipment Company, Wisconsin Lighting Lab, and Chimney Mechanix. Additionally, Insurance King will promote The Wounded Blue on the hood of Bilicki’s No. 19. The Wounded Blue is an organization that provides assistance to police officers who have been wounded or injured on the job.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval will take place on Saturday, October 12th at 3:30 PM ET and will be televised live on The CW.
