During a press conference previewing NASCAR’s upcoming race in Mexico City, fans got their first glimpse of season two of NETFLIX’s NASCAR: Full Speed. Two teasers for season two were shown during the press conference, both featuring Trackhouse Racing’s Daniel Suarez.
- The first teaser, shown 36 minutes into the livestream, featured a snippet of an interview with Suarez over b-roll of him working on a car. The second clip, shown 44 minutes into the livestream, featured the finish of the first race of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs in Atlanta and heavily featured Suarez.
- Full Speed does not cover the entirety of the NASCAR season; rather, it highlights the playoffs and introduces select drivers competing in that year’s playoff. For season one, the show highlighted drivers such as Bubba Wallace, Denny Hamlin, Ross Chastain, Ryan Blaney, Tyler Reddick, and William Byron.
- Full Speed season two is expected to be released in April. This release date is different from season one, which released prior to the beginning of the 2024 season. Overall, the show, which is similar to F1: Drive to Survive, was a hit with fans.
- Wednesday’s press conference previewed NASCAR’s upcoming race weekend in Mexico City at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. The race weekend, which starts on Jun. 13 and ends on Jun. 15, is a triple header weekend featuring the Mexico, Xfinity, and Cup Series.
